* Blue Litmus will turn red when tested with an acidic solution. No reaction on Blue means the test substance is a base or neutral.
* Red Litmus will turn blue when tested with an alkaline solution. No reaction on Red means the test substance is an acid or neutral.
* Neutral Litmus will not change in a neutral solution. It will turn red in an acidic solution or blue in a basic or alkaline solution.
Place a new test strip on a flat surface.
Place a few drops of the test liquid onto the strip.

This strip may be used in all applications where total hardness measurements are required, such as laundries, or other specific areas that require low hardness values.
Measures intervals of 0.0, 50, 125, 250 & 500ppm or reads in grains/gallon in intervals of 0.0, 3.0, 7.0, 15.0 & 30.0.
Ideal for classroom use, this general purpose pH paper provides a distinct color match for each pH unit from 1 to 14. 100 strips, measuring 2" long x 1/4" wide, are packaged in a plastic vial along with a pH color matching chart.
Universal pH test strips.
The indicator solution does not contaminate the solution being tested.
A measurement of buffered as well as weakly ionic solutions is possible.
Single pad for quick and easy readability. (Intervals of 1pH unit).
